flash movie won't play in email

Hi,

I have successfully embedded an html page containing flash into an email. However, I cannot get it to play. When I view source in the mail (using Outlook) I see the play parameter set to 0 or -1, so I've tried setting it at 1 or deleting it to use the setting on the movie. However saving the mail and reopening it shows that Outlook just ignores my change and puts it back to 0 or -1.

Sending myself the mail, it arrives with the movie intact. All I have to do to view it is right click and play it. So how can I do this automatically?

Just a thought here...

In your Publish settings, under the html tab,is the "Playback Paused at Start" box checked?

No, we haven't used the publish facility - used our own html and put the flash file into it.

Guess you then don't have these parameters <PARAM NAME=play VALUE=false> & play=false in your <object> & <embed> tags?
