Hi,

We have just upgraded one of our live servers to CFMX 7, and are now experiencing problems with flash forms failing to load. As far as we can tell the setup on the severs is the same, but for some reason the form will refuse to load if there is data to be displayed, it will just sit there with the timer cursor and do nothing.

I ahve looked on the MM site, and the web in general and I can't find anything out there. We have applied hotfix 2, and that hasn't fixed it. Both of the servers are running Win2k.

Any one had the same problem, know of a resolution?

Right then, I am not saying that this is the solution for everyone, but this is what solved the issue for us. We did not have a mapping to the JRunScripts directory within IIS, when we added this to the virtual site, it loaded. We had to wait for IIS to realise that it had been updated but that solved the problem for us.

DeadlyViper,

I thought I was crazy because it didn't make any sense.

Where do you map to the JRunScripts directory within IIS. I am using 2003 so it may be different but I'm not seeing anyplace to do that.

Is it a per web site setting?

Thanks in advance,

Michael

Michael,

We are looking for a way of making all of the sites have a mapping. It seems to be when a new site is created, that the JRUnScripts dir is not mapped into the directory automatically.

What you have to do is to map it for every website that is on your server. map the dir to the CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\wsconfig\1 directory and then it should work ok. We had to wait a few minutes for IIS to figure out that a change had been made, but that sorted it out for us,.

Hope this helps!

Tony
