Ever since installing the CS3 suite, I get an error popup whenever there is an error in flash while browsing the web. I use Firefox 3.5 (happened in 3.0 too). The error box has a heading of Adobe Flash Player 9 and the message refers to an ActionScript error. Is this some sort of debug option that is turned on? How do I turn it off?

That's Flash Debug Player popping up errors. To me it's indispensable tool for developing Flash contents, but if you want to get rid of it you can uninstall the debug player and reinstall the normal player. Both uninstaller and installer for normal players are here:
