Hi people,

I have created a cd version of a website for a client but would like to know what happens if you have flash elements on the site, I assume it would be work ok if you have the flash plugin but what if a user has not, I assume that they would not get the usual diolog box alerting the user that they do not have flash (since this is generated online),

Any ideas....

Usually a Flash movie on a CD, is a projector file (.exe - .hqx), which holds it's own player, so there's no need for another player...

I didn't create it as a projector file because the site had html elements,

Then if you're "playing" the site through an .html, it should hold the "player detection" info, and assuming a online connection existed, when the site was "played", it should work as if it was online.

Thanks I have sent the file off to the client, can anyone point me to any online tutorials for devleloping CD content within flash.

Also, if I create CD content in flash, am I able to add an icon to the to the CD, autorun etc, any tutorials on this would be great.

I had to buy software a couple of months ago that enabled me to create an autorunning CD that opens a HTML page, I am pretty dissapointed with the results and would prefer to use flash in conjunction with others methods.

Thanks
