Hi,

i have a problem about transfering calls to the another extensions by pressing flash button,
avaya 412 ver 3.2.55, locale US(Kingdom)

for example user 1 calls user 2 , and user 2 wants to transfer user 1 to user 3 , when user 2 push the flash button on her analog handset , user 1 disconnected, user2 and user3 can talking each other , but user1 disconnected, how can i transfer user 1 to user3 by pressing flash button,

i do not want to transfer the extensions by using the button under handset, i can transfer with this button, a quick press and free up this button, but customers do not want to use this way, customers want to use flash button,

in analog extensions there are

Flash Hook Pulse Width
Use System Defaults ticked
minimum width 20 ms
maximum width 500 ms

Hook Persistency 100 ms

can i achieve this problem by changing this values,
but every changing requires a reboot, and i cannot, so i want to know the exact solution for using flash button.
please help me thanks.

You must adjust the "Flash hook pulse" settings on the analog telephones.
Use the following values :
untick "use system default"
Minimum with = 90
Maximum with = 350 or 400 or 450 or 500 test wich is working, start with 350.

After changing this per extension a hard reset of ip office is required.

i dial the analog handset manufacturer's hotline and they say karel-ladin analog handsets flash hook pulse width values are 500 ms minimum
and 600 ms maximum, what do you think about these values,
is it correct, should i test these settings,

i will try your values and their values
thanks,

If the manufacturer says these are their values then you must use it.

ok
manufacturer's values min 500 max 600 solve the problem, thanks.

I did not know you could transfer internal calls from one ext to another. I thought the transfer via flash on analog exts was o0nly for calls which go outside the system on a line.
