I am creating a website in Dreamweaver 3 and am using multiple layers. I was trying to apply a Flash 5 movie as a background. Is this possible? How would I get this to work?

You say trying! Assuming it's not working and depending on what your final goal is, you can always type in dreamweaver layers in the search box(lower left) at:
Layering over any embedded object, in this case the Flash player, is usually tricky. You should give us more details on what your trying to achieve.

;-)

This is a nice problem eh? Been messing with D4 since I read this, having a little do-da with layering. Now, if you layer 2 Flash movies on top of each other, they DO sit on top of each other, but if you try typing into the layer it goes behind the embedded movie. OK, of course you sussed that already, what I'm getting at is that if you can EMBED a flash movie on top of a flash movie, wouldn't it be easy enough to EMBED html in a layer. (I say easy, I mean easy for a Dreamer not a Flasher ;-) )

Thanks, I'll post the question in the Dreamweaver forum. Wish me luck!

Come back if you get an answer, very interesting!
