Flash 8 export with Alpha using AVID problems

I have 3 AVIDS, Meridien board Composer, Adrenaline & Express Pro and all the machines have the Flash 8 encoder installed. However, when exporting a Flash 8 video and clicking the Encode Alpha Channel option, the final video has audio but all video is missing. While in After Effects, using the same process yields a key'd flv for importing and working in Flash with no problems. Anyone have any thoughts as to why the AVID method doesn't work?

Flash = Adobe.
After Effects = Adobe.
Final Cut Pro = Adobe.

Avid = Adobe's competition.

That said, just tried it on my Xpress Pro... Didn't work either!

Although it says here that it should!

Thanks. Yea, just spent the last hour online looking at all the info on how AVID doesn't export alphas... Nice. I'd have thought that the Adrenaline and all that it cost to own, being the "new" compositing editing tool that the original Composer wasn't that it would have had this option.

After almost 20 years of editing on Avid, leaving for work on my present project on FCP...

Although it's as powerful as the Adrenaline (if not superior...) and at a fraction of the cost, still hate the damn thing...

Unselect a video level and audio is unrendered... Go figure that one!
