flash 4

I have a flash 4 2.0 with a mics 6.0 was working fine.

customer told me that ext 238 didn't have voicemail.

on programming mailbox is created but with no extension assigned to it, when I try to add ext. 238 it said that the ext. is already assigned...I looked but no other mailbox has ext 238..

Please help?

It may be the Extension that has 238 in it, not the mailbox. Check all the mailboxes for 238 in the extension prompt

i checked on every mailbox to see if it had ext 238 asigned to it but none of them had 238 assigned to them...all the mailboxes had their own extension assigned to them...

try printing a report it may be easier to find all mailboxes that way

connect your laptop to the flash using hyper terminal or other com software
do the feature 983 (password)and press 7 pick the mailbox info report it should print to the laptop

i believe the com port is by default 9600 n 8 1

I had this happen on a flash (ext 228) and I never could get it to clear...database corruption is my guess...great time to sell them a CP
