Can anyone help me with the procedure for fixing the vfstab.

Thanks

I was making some changes to it [vsftab] and when I reboot the server it refuse to boot.

I know I can do:
boot cdrom -s
run fsck on cxtxdxs0
mount /dev/rdsk/cxtxdxs0 /a

...after this I'm lost.

Thanks!

After you mount the proper slice to /a vi /a/etc/vfstab and correct your mistakes.

Here is a basic vfstab. You can use it as a model and swap out your own partition layout.
You can get this info after booting from cdrom using the format command.

Rememder 7 fields on each line.

Hope this helps,

#device device mount FS fsck mount mount
#to mount to fsck point type pass at boot
