Hi I am currently trying to create a bar graph that has large amount of data in it, at the momment it s showing an automatic scale on the Y axis which is Count of the the number of times an error occured and the X axis show the different error ID's, there is a bout 4,000. So the graphy is very big, and it has already been group and sorted and this is the data that we need.

My question is, is there a way in which you can manually rescale the Y axis, for example instead of having it 0,10, 100, 1000, e.t.c which is what Crystal does automatically, can you set it yourself to say for example 0,5,10,50,100,250,500,1050, e.t.c.

Please let me know as soon as possible as i am in urgent need to complete this report!

You might want to try using a logarithmic scale. Right click on the chart->chart analyzer->right click on the grid->format chart->grid->data axis->scales->logarithmic scale. You can also set the minimum and maximum value in this screen, although I had some trouble with changing this value and getting locked into an invalid entry message that then was difficult (but not impossible) to escape. I don't know of a way to define each interval.

To lbass,

Thanks so much for your quick reply, i will try this and let you know how i go!

Thanks again

In that same dialog, if you go the last tab on the right [Grids], there is a "use manual scale" option. Check that and then set the INTERVAL value to whatever you want (50 I think in your case).
