Hello, can someone direct me on how to set up a navigation bar that is fixed on the page and does not expand/contract when the window is sized?

Since I am so new to XHTML & CSS, I need to set up a website where the screen does not change.

Can you direct me to a tutorial or give me some advice?

Strangely enough, you know what you want, but you also decided not to try and type that in google.

Here's a method of achieving fixed position across browsers:
I am pretty sure you can google on creating the navigation bar that you need. Just don't forget to give its container a fixed width, so as to make it "not expand/contract" as the window changes.

Hello Vragabond, I searched on anchors tonight and had read through many tutorials on fixed positioning for backgrounds.

Thank you for pointing me to the tagsoup link.
