Fixed Mobile Convergence 1

We purchased the Fixed Mobile licenses and upgraded to 5.5 to configure fixed mobility. The 3904 and BB have the same DID number and both will ring when the DID is dialed. The handoff key between the 2 works.

The problem is that when a call is handed off to the BB, the features like transfer, conference, etc. don't work. I set up the FFC codes, but when the code string is dialed on the mobile device, the PBX doesn't respond.

Can anyone help?

We found an engineer that knew the answer - in case you ever run into this. Here's the solution:

There needs to be Voice Gateway Media Card (VGMC) in the same Network Group that the PRI call is going out on. All monitoring is done with a DSP from the same Network Group.

Fixed the problem for us.
