FITREWALL AND BRIGHSTOR

I have to install Brighstor Ver 9 in LAN env. with Firewall . My backup server is on the IP network 10.10.11.* and 2 others servers (client agents istalled on that servers ) is on the 192.168.122.* network. I find on the internet that must opened PORTS 1650 , 1651 , 1670 , 1671 on the firewall. Ours communications peoples open this ports but i can't see any of that servers on the other site of the firewall. I have onother UNIX server on the same IP network with agent installed and i can see and backup this server. What ports ( TCP and UTP ) and what others services ( NetBios etc..) we have to open on the Firewall ???????? ( all the others ports are Blocked )

Make sure you can ping the systems.

The systems should show up in the Backup window under network. Basicly whatever shows up under Windows network should show up there.

The ARCseve Discovery service is what provides the view of other systems with ARCserve or agents installed.

But even if it does not see them, and they don't show up under network, the system can be manually added under client agents.

I can ping the 2 servers but i can't see them under network. I add that machine manual under client agent but i get error " fail to login to agent".

NetBios Name is more than likely note allowed through.
Update the LMHOSTS files on both machine
