I'm using Access2000 and making a report for the first time(I know how to program forms make SQL Queries already). The reports the wizard makes can't be used because the data in a field has to be parsed to other fields by weekday.

Database1 fields are:
ID , Date , Info
1 5/14/02 Attend
6 5/14/02 Makeup
2 5/13/02 Attend
17 5/13/02 Extra
1 5/13/02 Attend
etc...

Database2 fields are:
ID, Lname Fname
1 Harry Smith
2 Mary Doe
3 John Johnson
etc,,,,

Report should look like:
Sat5/11/02),Mon(5/13/02),Tue(5/14/02)
.... Garcia,Ron Smith,Harry

The report should show each student name under the column he attended-In other words, it organizes attendeance by weekday attended. The report should show attendeance for the past week so the dcolumn dates have to adjust each day.

I'm looking for snippets of code, advice, examples ...Any thing to help get me started is appreciated.
