I have a problem with one of our calling groups. Normally, it's set to a "Group Ring" style hunt, but it rings endlessly and doesn't go to voicemail (the voicemail box is 600) for some reason. I tried experimenting with it and set it to a "Linear" style and noticed that only the first line will ring and the hunt never advances to the other lines later in the queue. I administer the group calling through the Quick Access menu, and here are the parameters: (the names with the equals signs around them are the tabs in the Quick Access interface, the items below them are the things visible on that tab)

==Queue==
Hunt Type: Group Ring
Call-in-Queue Alarm Thresholds: 1 < 1 < 1
External Alert for Calls-in-Queue Alarm: 0
Queue Control: 99
Queue Priority: 16
Message Waiting Receiver Extension: 600 (this is the voicemail I want it to go to)
Queue Support: 0

==Delay==
No selected extensions
Secondary Delay Announcement Extension: 0
Delay Interval: 0 (greyed out)
Delay Announce Auto Repeat: No

==Overflow==
Overflow Coverage Calling Group Number: 770 (our voicemail)
Overflow Threshold: 99
Overflow Threshold Time: 9
Prompt-Based Overflow: No

==Members==
Group type: Auto Login

I've been trying to no avail to get this working for a while now. Most of my attempts were based off copying another calling group that does properly go to voicemail.

Group Ring never overflows.

The best way I have found to make this arrangement work is to use an AUTO LOG OUT Group (with responsible people managing it).

Then you can fiddle with the number of calls or time setting and get it to VM that way.

Sorry to revive this thread after such a long time, but I restored an older backup of the system which has the hunt working properly. It uses "Auto Login", but the extensions listed are very different from the ones we normally use. Usually, we use extensions numbered 600 through 660, but the ones listed in the group are 7178 through 7181. I used the intercom to call each of these numbers, and each one appears to ring all of the extensions that we wanted the calling group to ring. (which makes it all the more odd that there are 4 different extensions that all appear to do the same thing) I printed all the settings (an hour or two of fun at 2400baud) and went through them looking for any instances of these mysterious extension numbers. Essentially, I'm wondering what the heck these things are so that I can find out how to configure them. Here are some snippets for the first extension in the group (7178):

I forgot to mention that we want to change the extensions that this group rings when it gets a call.
