I have just installed a s8300/g700, cm 5 into a site.
when calls come in the first digit is missing from the number.

ie the set displays the incoming call as 7866xxxxxx
instead of 07866xxxxxx.

The install has replaced an old cm2 s8300 and the trunks were exisitng and working fine before the upgrade. So I dont think its a provider issue!

They are using 46xx sets on site.I have checked the text settings file for digit length ect. it seems ok.

Any pointers would be great

Cheers

Dave

Check "incoming call handling treament trunk x" - x=the trunk group the calls come in on. You may need to set up 07866 in there.

I had this same problem, a fix for me was on the "change system-parameters features" form on page 8, set National CPN prefix to 0 and international CPN prefix to 00 and on page 9, set the local country code to 0 and the international access code to 00.
Worth a try
