FIrmware upgrade on S8300/G430

Hello all,
Not quite sure if I am doing this correct as it has been several years. I need a refresher on upgrading firm ware on cards residing in a g450 such as mm712, mm711 etc. I have an MM711ap hw31 fw096 that needs a firmware update. What would be the steps that would allow me to do this. I have an S8300D rls 6.3. Any assistance is as always greatly appreciated.

I know the backdoor address's are changed in CM 6.x. So idk if above post will work.

You can download the FW to the utility server and use that ip Address instead.

G450-001(super)# copy tftp module mm711h30v96.fdl <US ADDRESS> 3

I would use the utility server upload the files to the utility server (really obvious on the menu tree), and just use the tftp copy command from the gateway cli as above recommendation

Thanks for the replies guys. The upgrade was postponed but was finally rescheduled for this past Friday. I was able to use Avaya Tier 3's instructions with good results, thanks AT3.
