Firmware 0625C1B needed 1

Hello,

I'm looking for someone who may have the firmware 0625C1B for the 1100 series sets (this is on rls 4.5). I have some new phones that are in need of a firmware downgrade but I can't seem to find the firmware anywhere!

Any help is appreciated.

I think we might have that on our CS1000S 4.0 system Funny that you mention firmware downgrade because we had our newer system phone firmware upgraded and then we couldn't get bluetooth to work so we had to downgrade. What is your issue? You could try upgrading firmware higher unless you are on the latest ... one reason to keep the old firmware file (just in case).

Well I purchased some newer 1100's and they all come with latest firmware.. they won't downgrade when connected to PBX, I get a FW Authentication error, so it looks like I'll have to manually downgrade the sets, but without the firmware on my PC I can't do that either, so I'm just looking for the .bin file. If you have it you'd be a life saver!

PBX won't let me grab it, it sends me to the Nortel support website but for obvious reasons it's not on there anymore.

I've done a search on my works laptop and have located some 1140 firmware from years ago. I have 0625C6T.bin and 0625C3C.zip. I'm not sure if these will be OK for the 1100 phones?.

Contact me if you want them. They were located in my 4.5w section.

If these are new phones note that after a certain hardware revision they cannot be downgraded beyond a specific point. I believe the latest software revision notes details the affected units.

The latest 1120E/1140E hardware will not accept a downgrade to (either from the CS 1000 or via tftp) to anything earlier than UNIStim 3.4 (0625C6T).

Thank you both, our supplier did not tell us that these phones had a restriction on firmware levels.


It seems that they are doing everything they can to force us to upgrade!

If it usually works from your system then you have the firmware in the /u/fw directory on the sig server.

C6T is supported on CS 1000 4.0 or later. C1B is REALLY OLD and there is no reason to continue to use it.

Just disable the upgrade policy at the sigserver side and all your new phones will work also with the new firmware, because they will not try to upgrade it if the policy is disabled
