Is it possible to boot from a firewire harddisk (IEEE1394) ?

I want to put linux on this drive and boot from it !

I have windows XP an Windows 2000 on my IDE harddisk !

The only possible way to boot from a firewire device is if the BIOS provides for it as a boot option.

Maxtor makes some big firewire harddrive why not go ask them if it is possible. We use to build our own servers at school on Jazz drives. We got them to boot up. I think we used something like system commander or something like that. Doesnt XP have a dual boot option in it? If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.
