Firewall/Proxy Recommendations

G'day,

We have a customer who is currently running Wingate (unknown version) and the thing keeps crashing. As a result the client would like to know their options in terms of a new firewall/proxy client. Proxy isnt that important but port mapping / pinholing/ whatever you like to call it is very important.

What i would like to know is everyones recommendations as to a reasonable cheap windows based (not nessecarily) proxy firewall.
