I'm currently running a Symantec (Raptor) firewall, which I've been very happy with. We have 120 users in 3 locations connected to the internet through a T1. I'm looking to upgrade my firewall to a router/appliance-based firewall as opposed to a PC based solution. We need 3 interfaces, as we have a DMZ. We also use VPN (not many sessions) and will be supporting VoIP (not many calls) connections through the firewall.

I was going to buy a Cisco PIX solution, but we would need a 515 or 525 series and it costs a little too much. I'm looking for other suggestions. So far I'm looking into Sonic Wall. Any other suggestions/experiences/advice would be appreciated.

Did you ever solve this one. I am lookign for something a little less in the $$ category also.

AgTech,

I ended up going with a Pix 515E firewall. It was less than $4000 with the 3 ethernet cards and the maintenance contract. (I paid over $5k for the Symantec software firewall not including the PC to run it on, so it was actually a bargain.) Now I just have to figure out how to use it! (heheheh)
