Looking for some help to identify fire alarm extensions. Is there a Prt for fire alarms in ld 20?

I have two fire alarms that are not connected but have been setup in the past that i need to punch back down. Unfortunatly I don't know the previous extension or the tn that they were on. If there is a way to prt then i could get them working again!

any help would be great!

thx.

Billy

are they ring down? if so ld 81 and lst feat mnl.. are they named? if so ld 95 prt names all shrt yes.. that will list all named dn's... last bet, ld 81 lst feat sets and see if something catches your eye.. (long shot).. if you know the date of the build or most recent change, then try printing by date.. but that prints every change past that date.... there's no real cls for a fire alarm to list by

Just a quick note. Most fire alarm monitoring companies require the primary line be a telco 1FB, just in case the switch goes down, and you have "no dialtone". (UPS or not!) Also, check with your local fire department and your insurance company.

Fire Alrms, Intruder Alarms. Never via the switch.

If the customer requires a monitored service, then pay for the extra DEL. I'm not going to get blamed because an alarm didnt get through.

Its bad enough that you cant get customers to give you a del for maint' work. Then they complain that they have to pay for a site visit because the circuit is down. :)

i do know the alarm goes through our switch i called the monitoring company and they gave me the number that comes into the switch.

thx for the info I wil give it a try when i get to the office

There is no such thing as a fire alarm ext in the switch, it's just an ext and you can call it what ever you want. If you know the ext number you can do a PRT DNB in LD 20.
