We have a user who needs to see their call log from January.
1) Does IP Office save the call log to a specific log file? If so where can I find that file?
2) Is it possible to export it to a .csv or other format?

If anyone knows the answer here I would be grateful. Thank you everyone.
ps. I just joined Tek-Tips today and I'm excited to be part of the community.

You need something like Xima Xhronicall.
It is a reporting tool.
A call log probably will not keep it that long.
Do you need this kind of info on a regular base?
If the answer is yes then check out there website: www.ximasoftware.com

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Can this be done with the one-x Licensing?
We have one-x licenses but as you can see I don't know a whole lot about it.
I know that the reporting software is not installed.

If there's a log file generated somewhere for each user I can look that up and format it on my own I was just not sure if there is a log file anywhere or if it's FIFO based on the handset and only stores the 10 most recent calls.

One-x Portal has a call history field but i do not know how many entries will be kept.
If you are lucky you can find it back.

One-X only keeps a small(ish) number of calls (never seen more than about 10 or so on any I have done), the same as the handset does. As tlp says this is something you need an external call logger for, whilst he has suggested Chronicall I would suggest Oaks Report X as from using both it is a better overall product IMO.

You could if you really wanted to output the SMDR output to hyperterminal (or similar) and then cut and paste that into notepad and make your own csv file each day if you really wanted to go the manual route.

Thanks guys. This is the 1st time we've ever had a request to even look back to find a call.
I think it's just a one time occurence so for now we're just going to hold tight on looking at using other software.
