Finding port number for phone

Hi folks. I have a phone jack that is possibly in use, possibly not. Someone asked me in the office if I could pull up to see if there was a number assigned to that jack. Since the port numbers are all screwy in GEDI, I was wondering if there was a way for me to pull up the port # that is in use on a phone from within the office or some other way to determine if that port is in use at all?
 
sure, "Station Self Display", setup a feature code for "Self Station Display Activation" (page 3 on "change sys features"), then just enter that code on a digital phone plugged into the jack, should display the port number, or the port number and the station # if it is TTI'd in (only works for digital phones with a display on them, only on digital ports as well)

Page 3 gives me he TTI/PSA settings. On page 1 I see "Self Station Display" is set to Y but no code for it.
 
Disregard that, I'm pretty sure that it's an analog line. I tried dialing 1-800-444-4444 but it appears that it is masked. Any way I can figure out the phone number for that line?
 
dial any phone that has a display. If you they answer, your number will be on the display.
dial 0 for the attendant queue and the console will have your number on the display unless it's a tti/psa port and
this will show the port on the display.

From the analog line dial either the attendant or a digital with a display. It will give you the extension number if one is assigned. Failing that, put a toner on it and find it on the wallfield.
