Finding IPL file on the ESPL

Can anyone steer me in the right direction of where to find the IPL files for a VGMC card on the ESPL? I am currently running into ELAN errors causing the VGMC to drop intermittenly. I would like to check the ESPL to see if the loadware is up to date.

I am running at 5.50. The current loadware is IPL55012.sa. It looks to be the original loadware from install in 2007. I already know my MGC and DSP files are way out of date, but I've had no problem finding the latest updates for them on the ESPL.

I just want to check to see if there are any updates for the VGMC on the ESPL.

I would recommend using the Loadware Comparison Tool on the ESPL and it will tell you exactly what you need.

I've done that. That is how I found out about the MGC and DSP files. But the PSWV doesn't give any information regarding the IPL file. Is that because it is the latest and I shouldn't worry about it?

The sa file isn't really a patch, it's the software on the Signal Server that gets pushed to the VGMC Cards. You probably wont find it on the ESPL but you may find it on the PLDS site.

Should I assume that there has probably been an update to that file on the PLDS site? Like I said, the file that is there now is from the original upgrade in 2007.

I'm thinking I should just update the MGC, and DSP files then see what happens.

Things have gotten real hard to find on any of their sites. Being on 5.5 you are waaaaay behind what is even supported and may even be EOL. I do believe though the 5.50.12 is the latest but I haven't touched a 5.5 in years.

Thanx, I'm gonna have to assume it is the latest because I don't have access to the PLDS. ESPL yes, but no PLDS! Your right it is frustrating as hell trying to track down info on both sites. At times I think it's by design! I'll just try the MGC/DSP upgrade and hope for the best

If you or anyone else has access and could check it out for me, i'd appreciate it

I've just done a search and found this below.

As far as I know, there was only one version of IPL55012.sa issued for the MG32 card.

I think those patches are just for the MC32S card but I could be wrong, not sure what he has though.
