Finding files older then ??

Hi,

I got a lot of SQR files on my machine.. a few thousand.
Now i want to do a search for all files older then 28 feb 2003.

Can anyone tell me how ?

# find all the files NOT newer then the tmp file created above
find /start/path !-newer /tmp/datePivot.txt -type f vlad

vlad's first command creates a temporary file with a last modified date of 28 February 2003.

The second command finds any files older than the temporary file. Annihilannic.

hi,
you have to put a [SPACE] between `!' and `-newer'

find /start/path ! -newer /tmp/datePivot.txt -type f
