How on earth do you find out which exts have either MWI or access to their parent mailbox without looking through those settings on every mailbox till you find it?

We have reused a ext that still gets the MWI even though the new user of that ext is not in the previous team.
We cannot tell now who prevously had the ext either.

I know we can turn the alerts off on the handset but we could relly do with knowing this for admin purposes.
We run v 4.0
Many thanks in advance.

On Unity go to subscribers and then click on the find subscriber icon.

On "find by:" select extension and perform a blind search just the * wildcard. Now all the extension on Unity will be listed.

If a extension is using a VM it should be there and if you got user without VM they are not going to be on that list.

On each subscriber under messages you can check the MWI status.

Caos is the natural order of things...

When the Use MWI for Message Notification field is enabled, Cisco Unity uses the extension or extensions listed in the MWI Extensions table to activate message waiting indicators (MWIs).

By default, one row in the table contains an "X" to indicate the primary extension assigned to a subscriber. You can change this row or add more rows to the table to have Cisco Unity activate MWIs for another extension or phone number. MWIs are enabled for all rows in the table; to disable an MWI for an extension, delete the row from the table.

Yes I know all this but what I am asking is how can you find out what voicemail box an ext is listed as a MWI under.

I have 173 mailbox's and all have about 7 MWI exts.
Ext 1551 is in one of those mailbox's MWI lists.
Ext 1551 is not an ext with its own mailbox.
How do I find out which mailbox ext 1551 is listed for MWI without looking through the MWI settings of each mailbox?

Hi, I have found this issue before, I think there is a way to search one of the SQL tables on the Unity server, but not sure which one...sorry I can't be of more help.

thanks stevedb55, if you remember please let me know.
Wouldn't you think there'd be something in the admin pages for this??

Planetmaker was right in his assumption that there is a Administration Tool for this.

Double click on Cisco Unity Tools Depot and then click on Subscriber Information Dump. This gives you the ability to print out all subscribers with their associated MWI's.

Hope this helps!

Does anyone know how to print the list of subscriber ext.'s and MWI's associated in Unity Connect 7.0?

Thanks. JimC-
