We have been searching high and low for new avaya techs for over a year now

Does anyone know of any good sites to recruit an avaya engineer ?

Have tried monster, Craigslist and a few others

It's pronounced ONE-X, but it is written "ix". I guess they were all sloshed on the stuff when they wrote it up.

I have been training one of my employees for over a year now, still only 25% there. like others have said if they are not a business owner or have a job I would be suspicious

There is a distrubutor out of the Cleveland area called Jenne. They will program a system for you at their facility then send it to you and all you have to do is install it. They also have very good tech support as well as a very good training program to certify Avaya technicians.

We actually get our aastra phones from them

And programming is not the issue we have a few guys... We need more field techs

I would never ever do that as it always appears to be different when you are on site.
Also you do not know what is programmed, how and why.
Nice option for only the basic stuff but if that is what causing problems then there are two options.
1 go on course
2 quit the job.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

talked to the wife and NJ is not an option it seems.

having a system pre-programmed is what I do too before I go to site (but I program it myself) and then all the changes and all the stuff the customer didn't tell you about is being programmed on site after the cut (or before if they tell me)
I have never installed an IPO without making adjustments, either I just am no good at my job or there are always things that can be done better and I hope it is the latter one :p
