I created a new ERD called "learn" and used the database design transformer to generate the table definition etc. This is creating 3 tables -- Samples, TP, and USERS1 which are not on any ERD I looked. So where are they coming from?

I recollect that I had created these temporarily and deleted as part of the learning process.

Is there a way to find out where a table is on which ERD or how it came about to be generated

FYI I deleted all objects from the Design Editor and regenerated using the database design transformer and every time these 3 tables do show up.

Try to look for them in Object Navigator

Thanks for the reply. They are not in reposotory object navigator

I gnore previos message. Thanks for the reply. They are in reposotory object navigator

Did you create them on an ERD, generate the tables from the entities and then delete the entities?
If so, the tables would remain until you delete those as well.

If not, look in the properties for the table and see if they are linked to any other entities, e.g. in another application system.

Good luck,

Timofe
