FindFast.exe: What's it up to?

My firewall has been notifying me that Microsoft Office FindFast.exe is trying to contact IP address 63.251.43.79, i.i.com com. Running a traceroute, the destination traces to Akamai Technologies.

Does anyone have any idea why this Microsoft executable is trying to connect with Akamai?
