Find who is using which phone by MAC or IP address? 1

Hi Friends,

I'm trying to match users/extensions to MAC or IP addresses of PTs.

On the NS700, is there a way to see which user or extension is on a specific IP or MAC?

The goal here is to reverse engineer our patch panel/managed switch ports.

If they are all nt phones look at the property of the ip cards (hover over card and choose property)and you can see the mac/ ip and extension numbers of each phone

Oh that's very cool. When I use the export it does not include the IP address. Don't suppose there is a way to grab that, too?

No, because the export can be used to backup the phones and if the ip was there it could be wrong if you used the file to restore from the file
