Hi Everyone,

I have searched the forums and found the following thread:

That being said, I can't seem to get the same results as the OP. We are running RLS 7.5 of the CS1k and though I can get a list in LD 117 using stat iset all, which I could eventually compare to a list of unequipped TNs/Sets, I can't seem to find the info I need in LD 20 using stat l s c. Actually, I do see what unit is UNEQ, but it doesn't give me the unit's tn.

Also, I have gone in the reports section of the EM and it shows me only 3 TNs with unequipped devices. The thing is, I have about 444 IP licenses in the system, with 348 being reported as used in LD 11. My problem is that a STAT SS shows me only 275 registered sets.

The delta is 75 licenses that are potentially being wasted at the moment on sets that are no longer equipped, which as you can imagine I would very much like to OUT so that I can retrieve these licenses and make them available again.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I can provide more info if necessary!

Thanks!

when you stat iset all, do you not see unregistered phones?

1 thing you can do is get into the command line of the SS. You can use PUTTY to SSH into the IP address and login with your PBX login and password.

Once you are in put in the command isetShowByTN

This will list all registered phones and sort the list by TN so they are easier to go through. If you have multiple SS then you mst do this on all since load balancing is most likely enabled.

Hi janaya and cmac,

Janaya: I do not see more than 5 unreg sets on the SS (ld 117, stat iset all)

cmac: when I connect to the linux base, that command (isetshowbytn) returns a bash: isetshowbytn : command not found

I joined some screenies (masked some info) so that you can better see what I mean. I printed out the STAT SS from LD 117 to show how many IP sets are currently registered on the SS (only one active), and also a printout of LD 11 that shows how many IP licenses I have, how many used, etc.

Thanks!

The command is case sensitive. It has to be isetShowByTN

That was such a big help!

Thanks so much cmac! Got the list, I'll start comparing!

Again thanks for the quick answers!

Shoot... I guess it's back to square one.

The isetShowByTN gives me about 3 UNEQ phones. That still doesn't help me find out why I would have 348 IP licenses used according to LD11 inventory, but only around 275 IP sets registered on the SS.

Is there something I'm not thinking about that could explain these numbers?

Thanks!
