I have had to reuse a DN, let's call it 3456. The new user of DN 3456 is stating that she is receiving calls, in voice mail, after hours that are meant for other offices.

My thought is this DN 3456 is on someone's Call Forward, either a digital set with a CFW key, or an analog set with FTR CFW.

What I am looking for is a way to search specifically for CFW 4 3456 or FTR CFW 4 3456 on some TN. I thought I found something like that a few years back, but cannot find a thread dealing with this subject.

Running CS1000, Rls 7.0.

Thanks in advance.

You print a TNB to a text file, then do a text search on the "3456" to see all the place it appears, such as in HUNT, FDN, CFW, etc.

Sadly, that is the only sure fire way to search the whole system for a number like that.

In case the above does not solve your issue, another train of thought:
Check out your Auto attendant for entries that match the number, also, was this number used by someone else who was, at one time, supposed to be getting these calls? If so, it could be the DNIS of a toll free number for example.

are they getting wrong number calls to the set or just voice mail MSGs? meaning direct to vmail and not ringing cfw to vmail.

my thought is an ACD queue that logs out after business hours that may have 3456 as a ncfw entry.

Could also be an after hours mailbox for a VM application.

The easiest way is to print off the ACD and TNB.

Once, you have converted the data, you can do a search.

All the best
