Using access to find/select duplicate repeating rows where one column=another column but the
rows will be different and out of order for thousands of rows.. Column a/which is date column
stays same?
For Example
Date Team1 Loc Team2
3/7/2008 Cougars home Spartans
3/7/2008 Lions home Tigers
3/7/2008 Spartans away Cougars
3/7/2008 Tigers away Lions
3/8/2008 Cougars away Lions
3/8/2008 Lions home Cougars
3/9/2008 Bulldogs away Panthers
3/9/2008 Cougars away Tigers
3/9/2008 Lions home wildcats
3/9/2008 Panthers home Bulldogs
3/9/2008 Tigers home Cougars
3/9/2008 Wildcats away Lions
After I find these I would like to delete the team1 away occurence of the entire record. So
basically there are 2 row entries for every game and no teams play twice in the same day. I just need to separate these rows so there is only one entry for each unique game. I suppose there are several ways to do this open to any suggestions.
