Hello!

Customer has a BCM 450 R6 with 10 Find Me/Follow Me licences. All 10 are being used. A couple of the execs switched offices. Set relocation is on, moved the T7316 no problem. Now Feature 960 is saying "not allowed".

Tried going into the mailbox admin, pressed 3 -- not allowed. It seems that while moving the phone the licence did not follow and I can't get it back!

Tried deleting the mailbox then adding it - no good.

Tried moving the set back to the original location, taking set relocation off and moving the port to the new location - no good.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Brent

I dont Kmow why moving the extn would stop the FMFM function.
Maybe you have made programming changes.

Check the COS for the mailbox and see if you have allowed the service for the mailbox user and assigned the COS to the correct mailbox

Enable FM/FM user Configuration
Required if users of this Class of Service (COS) would be allowed to configure and maintain their own FM/FM settings.

Manually Enabling/Disabling the Find Me/Follow Me Feature
There is an option for FM/FM schedules to be manually enabled or disabled by logging in to a user’s mailbox configured for FM/FM. This feature is very useful e.g. If a user were on holiday and still receiving calls from the office, the user could access their mailbox remotely and temporarily disable their FM/FM schedules.
Note: Mailboxes must be configured with the Norstar Voice Mail User Interface (configured in Class of Service – refer to the Configuring Class of Service Entries section of this guide) to allow manual enabling and disabling of FM/FM.

The following procedure alters all of the configured schedules for the extension/mailbox.

1. Log in to your mailbox.
2. To log in from an external location:
a. Dial-in to your mailbox greeting or the system Auto-Attendant.
b. Press ** (or 88 in some localities).
c. Enter your mailbox number and password.
3. Press 8 to access the Admin options.
4. To enable all schedules press 3.
5. To disable all schedules press 9.
6. A confirmation tone is played, hang up.

Class of Service is correct. Still Feature 960 and through the mailbox -- admin & 3 -- Not Allowed!
