migrating from an outsourced VoIP provider (Onit / CentricVoice -- HORRIBLE support!)

However, one feature we're losing in our transition to Cisco Call Manager is the find-me / follow-me functionality.

We've been dabbling with Asterisk using SIP trunks to pass calls back and forth successfully (since Asterisk does fmfm well) -- but hoping to avoid managing 2 systems and 2 places to train users to manage their options.

Any 3rd party solutions that plug-in to CCM to achieve this function?

Appreciate it - we're chomping at the bit, so let me know if anyone has some specific recommendations.

Thanks!

Not sure what your Voicemail is but you could use Unity Connections. Has it built in.

CISCO makes a product that does what you are looking for. It is called mobility manager.

Mobility Manager is not find me follow me, MM is Single Number Reach which may be fine for this applicaiton.

SNR will simutaneously ring different destinations at the same time. For example Desk and Cell phone and you pick up whichever device you wish. This is basically a blast the call to all my devices and hoppe you pick it up.

Find Me Follow Me is similar but also has the ability to follow rules based on things like your calendar, whos calling etc then forward the call based on those rules. This is a more inteligent form of SNR.

Thanks for the responses so far... Looking to NOT upgrade from ver 4.1(3) if at possible right now.

Find-Me / Follow-me (FMFM) -- for our application IS different than SNR (thanks for the clarification on the products).

If anybody has specific recommendation / links please.

Or creative solutions -- the issue we're trying to avoid is the FMFM function leaving a voice mail at any other number OTHER than the Unity Mailbox. In other words, callers calls the desk phone -- no answer, FMFM kicks in and hits a user-defined list of destinations... but requires the answer to "accept" the call --- otherwise it keeps hunting down the list... no acceptance sends the caller to Unity voice mail for the user.

Normal hunt groups and some other solutions simply forward the call along without any intelligence.

Thanks
