Totally new to Networker. Have been asked to find out how long a certain group runs. One client in group, one specific database in group. I know the notification runs and tells us the current completion times but how can I see how long it took to run last time, like a week ago? Any script I can run?

This is stored in the savegroup completion report. These are
the default notifications:

On NW/Windows, it is in the file \nsr\logs\savegrp.log

On NW/Unix, this report is sent as a mail to the root user

Thanks for the info, I found the log. What is the easiest way to find the exact completion report or the amount of time that a particular backup ran? Sorry for the bother but I was hoping there was a command I could use that would pull the amount of time a particular backup needed to complete. Thanks for any info I can get on this.

You can verify the duration for each save set under "successful
save sets". So just use "grep" or "findstr" on the client name and
you will see these listed.

However, you will not see the start and stop times, just the duration.
