Hi, I've never tried posting like this before because usually every question I have can easily be answered by googling. My problem is that I need to quickly scan an Excel workbook (sheet by sheet is o.k.) to detect the presence of strike-through font, non-black text, comments or shaded cells. The reason is that these are indications that QA notes were not removed from documents that were posted to a client site. The only search methods I can find either look for formatted cells (in which case they miss cells with only part of the text struck out or colored) or they require you to do a cell by cell search, which takes way too long over thousands of documents. Searching for different formats in a full Word document is easy. Is there no way to do this in Excel without a cell-by-cell search?
