Hi All,
Quick question..I have to make a schedule for my team. There is a meeting that occurs on every other tuesday...Is there an easy way I can populate a row with all tuesdays from a year without laboriously putting values in cells? Thanks!

-> putting values in cells

Is this in Excel?

1. Find first Tuesday of year. A calendar would be useful for this.

2. Add 14.

3. Repeat 2.

So are you using Excel as your group's calendar instead of Outlook or some other calendar program?

Or are you just wanting to get a list of every other Tuesday as a step in a method you have in mind to populate a calendar program?

Hopefully, you are using a real calendar. If so, tell us what it is. Someone here is probably familiar with it. Most calendars have a built in "repeating" schedule option.

Hi,

FIRST, understand Date/Time in Excel -- faq68-5827.

Then adding 14, becomes self explanitory.

Excel has automatic patern matching. If you put 1/2/2007 in one cell, 1/16/2007 in the next cell. Then highlight both cells and place your cursor over the dot in the lower right hand corner and drag that down over then 25 or so cells it will automatically extend the pattern.

If this is a one time thing and you do not need a programmatic solution.
