Filtering and Encryption on SM 7.0 all filtered data is encrypted

Session Managers updated to 7.0, when a filter is applied to capture only a specific number calling in, the ladder diagram changes to only display Application Data in the ladder diagram and the data when you open the line is encrypted. If we are lucky enough to see the call without the filter the data isn't encrypted.

Anyone experiencing this and know the solution?

We did find out that we had to upgrade our version of PuTTy to begin with, but can't work our way around this additional issue.

7.0's traceSM is weird. You don't have root and it writes a trace as a file owned by root that you can't grab afterwards.

I think the patch you are looking for is 7.0.1.1 but like Kyle said you want to look at the release notes to validate that.
