Hi

I'm quite new to Sharepoint.

Is there any way that I can filter a grouped list to show only the newest item added?

My list looks like this at the minute

Customer: ABC (3)
Joe Bloggs 12/10/05
John Smith 01/10/04
Mark White 06/08/03
Customer: XYZ (4)
John Smith 12/10/05
Joe Bloggs 01/10/04
Mark White 06/08/03
Sue Brown 05/09/02

Instead I would like it to look like this

Customer: ABC (1)
Joe Bloggs 12/10/05

Customer: XYZ (1)
John Smith 12/10/05

Thanks

Is there no-one that can help with this query?????

Well i dont think this can be done "out of the box", with custom webpart development this is ofcourse possible, but i dont think that you are after custom development...

You CAN do this out of the box. You can order a view on date and choose limit of 1.

If only 1 item is entered each day then Guidanzs solution works but if it's more than 1 item then ChaserNL is right, you would need a custom webpart developed..
