Good afternoon to you all

I need your help

I´m using Microsoft Access with a connector to a MYSQL database to retrieve some networking results.

One of the result columns is the IP address of the machine that performed the networking tests.

The problem is that i need to filter the results by IP that are in a certain range.

For instance, imagine that i only want to view results from the range 10.231.3.0/24...

Can someone post a simple script in VB that i can incorporate in Access?

Any help is apreciated.

Tank you

Hallo,

You'll want a VBA function so I suggest you post this in the 'Microsoft: Access Modules (VBA Coding)' forum on this site. You'll usually get an answer quickly.

When you post, let them know what the type of the IP address is (probably String?)

Thanks for your feedback

I´ll post it in Microsoft: Access Modules (VBA Coding)

I see you got a helpful answer there. They're a good bunch on that Access forum!
