Filter data returned on field - Crystal IX

Hello
I wish to report on a specific field {FIELDA} which is no problem. However i wish to only display data for {FIELDA} when it's corresponding category field {FIELDB} is 'one of' October or November.
I know I can just use the Select expert but I need to return all data but where the FIELDB category is October or November I need to include the data held in FIELDA as well
How can i do this in Crystal Reports v9.
I am only a novice at Crystal and would really appreciate some help.
Apologies if this doesn't make sense. It's difficult to put in writing.

Use a conditional formula like:

if {table.fieldB} in ["October","November"] then {table.fieldA}
