Filter by Form based on Subform

Hi there,

I have a main form with no data, and subforms on tabs with data. The data in the subforms is not linked to the main form.

I would like the filter by form to pop up based on the subform. But I need to put the button on the main form. I want to keep the subforms in datasheet view. I am planning to have a separate filter by form button for each of the subforms.

How do I get the filter by form to pop up based on the subform when a button is clicked on the main form?
