I have a 10 page job application in PDF format. Is there anyway to fill out the application in the PDF format without using Omnipage to re-scan it into MS Word? I am looking for a "quick and dirty" way to submit the application with hand writing it. Thanks in advance.

Tom, Thanks for replying to my question. I will try this later. Right now I need to get the application completed ASAP and I was looking for something 'Quite and Dirty'. I wish I still had my typewriter.

thanks again.

Generally, whoever created the pdf file has to include the ability for you to fill in fields on screen. If the creator didn't, I do not believe you can add it later.

One solution, effective if not quick, for filling out any kind of a form, is to use Publisher - print a copy of the blank form, use a ruler to measure where the text fields should go, use MS Publisher or something similar to size and create the text in boxes which you can position. It takes a couple of iterations, but print the text in the boxes, hold it up to the light to see if it fits the form, adjust, print again, revise until you've got it right. Once the text matches the form, print the text ON the form.
I did a California Court form that way, including a traffic map diagram that I did in Paint, submitted it printed on a the form, double sided - Trial by Declaration - and got my $123 ticket refunded. Good idea for filling out an application if your handwriting isn't too great, and a typewriter is too awkward.
