Fill in PDF forms/ edit it

Hello,

I am completing school applications and a lot of places have created pdf application files on the web, for me to download and type in the corresponding info. How can I fill in the blanks directly while the file/form is open in my adobe acrobat 5. IS this possible?

Hello,
If you have the full version of acrobat, you can use the free text tool to "write in" to the blank spaces. You select the tool, then click in the region you want to add text to, add text. Simple once you know how!

But that's the free text tool. I need a typeiong text tools. I cannot freehand letters using a mouse in qualiuty good enough to hand in the schools. Any other ideas.
