fileupload progress bar !

Hi,
Using Javascript..how can be show a progress bar of a file upload ...like in yahoo! How do we know the time it is going to take for upload ..and if we do not know the time for upload ..then how can we build the progress bar?

I would check to see if there is any way you can determine connection speed. If there is, I'm sure there is a way to make an equation for % of file completed based on connection speed and file size.

Can you send a link for the Yahoo upload thing you are talking about?

u have to use server side code and javascript for this.
the javascript will be used for displaying the bar, while the server side will provide the bar value...
