files & directories missing

Hi,
Some of the files and directories are missing. Could anyone respond me with some possible reasons for this.
The OS is Sun Solaris 5.6

Hi,
Some of the files under weblogic server. And some files from /opt/local/bin eg: metasend, splitmail, etc...
