Hi,

I am trying to package a project in VB6 using the packaging and deployment wizard. After the wizard runs for a little while an error message appears: "Filename must contain text", can somebody please let me know what this may mean.

Regards

Haven't used the P&D wizard in years. Try switching to one of the commercial installers like InstallBuilder (very easy to do a basic setup, but doesn't do really advanced stuff well) or InstallShield (a pain to do the easy stuff, but does advanced setup functions well)

Chip H.
Check to make sure that you have valid filenames (or none) listed when the wizard asks what additional files you would like to add to the project.

Just a thought.

InterruptX@excite.com
<a href= Contingency Implementation
Send me suggestions or comments on my current software project.
