File Usage of Programs

Does anyone know of a program which can find out exactly what files an application is using once it's running. I need to find out where a particular application is writing to and what files it's accessing.

I have a very old program that logs file accesses during the running of a program. I believe it is still available at the following:

If the OpenTrap wirks, good, that is better as it is more partiuclarly directed at your question.

If you need a thing that lists latest files used on a drive, let me know, post here or email.
